Our Programmes
PROGRAMMES BUILT AROUND PEOPLE, NOT SYSTEMS.
Every programme in the RAP Academy portfolio starts from the same place: meet the person where they are, build the relationship, then create the conditions for real and lasting change.
ONE ECOSYSTEM. MULTIPLE ENTRY POINTS.
RAP Academy's programmes span creative learning, digital skills, mentoring, violence reduction, health and wellbeing, men and families, custodial settings and reintegration — each one designed to engage people who are often hardest to reach through conventional services.
Whether delivered in schools, communities, custody or on the street, every programme is underpinned by the same relational, trauma-informed approach that has defined RAP Academy since 1996.

RAP DIGITAL MUSIC LAB® (DML)
Delivery settings
Community • Education • Youth Justice • Custody • Reintegration
What it is
RAP Digital Music Lab® (DML) is a structured digital creative intervention that uses contemporary music-production processes to engage participants through doing rather than talking.
Participants move from idea to finished creative output through a repeatable workflow — Concept → Creation → Refinement → Completion — developing focus, decision-making, reflection, digital capability and completion discipline through the act of creating.
Who it supports
Young people and adults who may be disengaged from conventional education or interventions, including participants within youth justice, early intervention, diversionary and custodial settings. No previous music or technical experience is required.
How it works
Participants create digital music and other creative outputs while developing focus, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, accountability and task completion. Facilitators use the creative process to encourage reflection without forcing personal disclosure.
Intended outcomes
Improved engagement, confidence, communication, emotional regulation, reflective decision-making, accountability, digital capability and positive identity development.
Participants leave with tangible creative outputs and, where appropriate, pathways towards further education, training, creative opportunities or continued personal development.

STRAIGHT 2 DA POINT® (S2DP®)
Delivery settings
Community • Education / Alternative Provision • Youth Justice • Custody

Who it supports
Young people and participants experiencing, involved in, or assessed as being at risk of violence, weapon carrying, exploitation, offending or related harm.
How it works
S2DP combines credible engagement with structured reflection around violence, consequences, emotional regulation, identity, peer influence, decision-making and safer alternatives.
Delivery is responsive to individual need and risk rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
Intended outcomes
Greater consequence awareness, improved emotional regulation, stronger reflective decision-making, reduced violence-supportive thinking, increased personal accountability and development of safer, pro-social identities.
06Personal Development • Life Skills • Employability
360PROGRAM
What it is
360Program is RAP Trust's integrated personal development and employability pathway.
It recognises that progression into education, training or employment is strengthened when practical development is accompanied by work on identity, emotional regulation and life skills.
How it works
The programme brings together personal development and employability-focused learning, creating a pathway from greater self-awareness and stability towards readiness for future opportunities.
Core development areas
Emotional regulation • Identity formation • Life skills • Career readiness
Intended outcomes
Greater personal awareness, improved emotional regulation, stronger life skills, increased confidence and improved readiness for education, training, employment and progression.
07Men • Parenting • Masculinity • Relationships
HARVESTING MAN'S POTENTIAL (HMP)
Delivery settings
Community • Family Support • Justice Settings
What it is
Harvesting Man's Potential (HMP) is a relational and behavioural programme exploring masculinity, parenting, relationships and intergenerational patterns.
How it works
The programme creates structured space for men to examine identity, responsibility, fatherhood, relationships, behaviour and the experiences that shape how they relate to themselves and others.
Particular attention can be given to intergenerational trauma and the relational patterns that can be carried from one generation into the next.
Intended outcomes
Increased self-awareness, healthier relational understanding, stronger personal and parental responsibility, improved communication and greater capacity to interrupt harmful intergenerational patterns.

TEMPLE FITNESS
Delivery settings

What it is
Temple Fitness is RAP Trust's health and wellbeing intervention, connecting physical development with emotional wellbeing, lifestyle education and personal development.
How it works
The programme uses accessible physical activity and biomechanics-informed practice alongside conversation and reflection.
It recognises that not all the weight people carry is physical. Physical activity can create an accessible environment for conversations about wellbeing, confidence, emotional regulation and healthier choices.
Intended outcomes
Improved physical wellbeing, emotional regulation, confidence, healthy lifestyle awareness and greater understanding of the relationship between physical and emotional health.
09Trauma • Identity • Belonging • Choices • Purpose
PATTERN THE ENDZ
Delivery settings
Community • Youth Justice • Schools & Alternative Provision • Custodial Settings • Early Intervention
What it is
Pattern The Endz is an 8-module, trauma-informed and restorative youth intervention designed to help young people recognise and disrupt patterns associated with violence, exploitation, street identity and harmful peer influence.
The programme moves beyond simply telling young people to make better choices. It helps participants explore the experiences, relationships, environments and beliefs that can influence those choices — and supports them to begin constructing a different pattern for the future.
Who it supports
Young people experiencing or at risk of involvement in violence, exploitation, harmful peer influence or street-associated behaviour, including those in youth justice, early intervention, community and custodial settings.
How it works
Delivered across 8 structured modules, the programme uses trauma-informed and restorative practice to help participants explore the patterns — environmental, relational and behavioural — that shape their choices and identity.
Participants are supported to recognise those patterns and begin constructing a different direction for the future.
Intended outcomes
Greater self-awareness, improved understanding of environmental and relational influences, stronger reflective decision-making, reduced violence-supportive thinking, increased personal accountability and clearer future orientation.

What it is
Brother, Let's Talk is a structured reflective programme developed for Black men and boys, particularly those affected by, or responsible for, violence against women and girls.

Who it supports
Black men and boys where participants are reflecting on harmful attitudes, harmful behaviour, masculinity, relationships or violence against women and girls.
How it works
Facilitated group delivery across six structured stages — from Breaking the Silence through to The Fire Circle: A Rite of Accountability — exploring masculinity, harm, empathy, bystander responsibility and behavioural change.
Intended outcomes
