The policies below are selected public-facing governance documents of Reaching All People Trust CIC (Company No. 10349786). RAP Academy® operates as the Trust's public-facing programme and delivery platform. These policies underpin every programme, partnership and engagement we undertake.
Safeguarding & Child Protection
Our commitment to the safety and welfare of every child and young person we work with. This policy sets out our responsibilities, procedures and reporting obligations under current legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023, and Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024.
Safer Recruitment, Vetting, DBS & Suitability
Our approach to recruiting safely and responsibly. This policy covers our use of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, reference verification, identity checks, and ongoing suitability assessment for all staff, volunteers and associates working with children, young people and vulnerable adults.
GDPR & Data Protection
How we collect, use, store and protect personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This policy covers our lawful bases for processing, data subject rights, retention periods, and our responsibilities as a data controller.
Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Anti-Discrimination
Our commitment to creating an inclusive, equitable and respectful environment for all. This policy sets out our obligations under the Equality Act 2010, our approach to eliminating discrimination, and how we actively promote equality of opportunity across all our programmes, employment practices and partnerships.
Health & Safety
Our responsibilities and procedures for maintaining a safe working and programme delivery environment. This policy covers risk assessment, incident reporting, emergency procedures, and our duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated regulations.
Complaints Policy & Procedure
How we receive, investigate and respond to complaints from participants, families, partners and members of the public. This policy sets out our commitment to transparency, fairness and continuous improvement, and the steps we take to resolve concerns promptly and effectively.
Quality Assurance, Monitoring, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Our framework for measuring the quality, impact and effectiveness of our programmes and organisational practice. This policy covers our approach to data collection, outcome measurement, programme review, and how we use evidence to drive continuous improvement across all areas of our work.
