360PROGRAM
DEVELOP THE PERSON. BUILD THE PATHWAY.
360Program is a structured personal-development and employability programme built around two complementary strands: Self-Wise and Job-Wise.
Self-Wise focuses on the person — supporting reflection, emotional development, identity, resilience and practical life skills.
Job-Wise focuses on progression — supporting employment readiness, career planning, practical preparation and movement towards positive future pathways.
Together, the two strands connect internal development with external progression.

STRUCTURED CONTACT TIME
The full 360Program comprises 16 structured sessions, divided equally between Self-Wise and Job-Wise.
Each session is designed for approximately 90 minutes, providing 24 hours of structured contact time across the complete programme.
Delivery can be scheduled flexibly according to commissioning arrangements and operational context, with source documentation supporting delivery models across approximately 8–16 weeks.
INSIDE + OUTSIDE
DEVELOPMENT HAS TO WORK IN BOTH DIRECTIONS.
Sustainable progression is not simply about finding an opportunity.
Participants may also need the emotional regulation, identity, confidence, practical capability and personal responsibility required to sustain that opportunity.
360Program therefore works across two interconnected dimensions.
SELF-WISE
DEVELOPING THE PERSON
Self-Wise provides the personal-development strand of 360Program.
It creates structured opportunities for participants to explore themselves, their experiences, their responses and the personal factors that can influence future choices.
Areas within this strand include:
- Emotional development
- Identity
- Trauma and resilience
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Suicide-prevention awareness
- Addiction-related issues
- Life skills
- Personal responsibility
JOB-WISE
DEVELOPING THE PATHWAY
Job-Wise provides the employability and progression strand of 360Program.
It supports participants to consider future direction and develop greater readiness for education, training, employment and other constructive progression opportunities.
Documented areas include:
- Career planning
- Employment readiness
- Practical preparation
- Mock interview activity
- Employability development
- Progression planning
- Employment and mentoring pathways
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
BEFORE YOU CAN BUILD A PATHWAY, YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE PERSON WALKING IT.
Self-Wise recognises that progression can be affected by much more than qualifications or opportunity.
Emotional responses, identity, confidence, past experiences, coping patterns and practical life skills can all influence how someone engages with the future.
The Self-Wise strand creates structured space for reflection and development without removing personal responsibility.
EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Supporting participants to recognise emotional responses and develop greater awareness of how emotions can influence behaviour and decision-making.
IDENTITY
Creating opportunities to reflect on self-perception, personal values, lived experience and future direction.
TRAUMA & RESILIENCE
Recognising the potential impact of difficult experiences while exploring constructive coping, resilience and progression.
WELLBEING AWARENESS
Creating appropriate space for discussion and awareness around mental health, wellbeing and help-seeking.
ADDICTION-RELATED AWARENESS
Supporting reflection around behaviours and issues that may interfere with stability and progression.
LIFE SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITY
Strengthening practical thinking, responsibility and the personal capabilities required to move forward.
EMPLOYABILITY & PROGRESSION
POTENTIAL NEEDS A PATHWAY.
Job-Wise turns personal development towards practical progression.
Participants are encouraged to think realistically about future direction, employment readiness and the behaviours and preparation required to move towards opportunity.
CAREER DIRECTION
Supporting participants to consider interests, strengths, aspirations and possible future pathways.
EMPLOYMENT READINESS
Exploring expectations, behaviours and preparation associated with entering and sustaining employment.
PRACTICAL PREPARATION
Developing greater understanding of the steps required to move from aspiration towards opportunity.
INTERVIEW PRACTICE
Using structured mock-interview activity to support preparation, communication and confidence.
PROGRESSION PLANNING
Identifying realistic next steps towards education, training, employment, mentoring or other constructive pathways.
THE GOAL IS NOT SIMPLY TO TALK ABOUT A FUTURE. IT IS TO BEGIN PREPARING FOR ONE.
FROM INTERNAL CHANGE TO EXTERNAL PROGRESSION
WHO I AM AFFECTS WHERE I CAN GO.
The strength of 360Program is the connection between its two strands.
Personal development and employability are not treated as unrelated subjects.
360Program recognises that external progression can be difficult to sustain without internal development.
Equally, personal development becomes more meaningful when participants can connect it to realistic future possibilities.

RESPONSIVE DELIVERY
ONE PROGRAMME DOES NOT REQUIRE ONE WAY OF LEARNING.
360Program sits within RAP Trust's wider trauma-informed and responsive practice framework.
Delivery can be adapted to different engagement and learning needs through approaches including:
Structured small-group learning
One-to-one support where appropriate
Experiential and practical activity
Creative learning
Multi-sensory approaches
Behavioural coaching
Trauma-informed communication
This supports accessibility for participants with different learning profiles and engagement needs.
UNDERPINNING PRACTICE
ENGAGEMENT IS THE BEGINNING, NOT THE END.
360Program operates within RAP Trust's wider Transformational Learning Model — a RAP-wide practice framework underpinning delivery across relevant programmes.
This wider RAP practice framework supports movement from initial engagement through reflection, learning, application and longer-term development.
DEVELOPMENT YOU CAN FOLLOW
PROGRESSION IS MORE THAN ATTENDANCE.
Within the wider RAP monitoring framework, participant development can be considered through:
The purpose is to understand movement over time rather than treating attendance alone as evidence of development.
Monitoring methods
- Baseline assessment
- Reflective evaluation
- Behavioural and engagement tracking
- Facilitator observation
- Participant feedback
- Distance-travelled measures
- Individual development goals
